The Electronic Waste Recycling (eWaste) Fee is a fee imposed on the retail sale or lease of certain electronic products that have been identified by the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) as "covered electronic devices" (CED's), and includes most video display products such as computer monitors. The state of California requires this fee for electronic displays equal to or greater than 15 inches and less than 35 inches. This fee is paid to the state of California and is not retained by the SDSU Bookstore.
