The SDSU Bookstore is a proud
member of both the Fair Labor Association (FLA) and the Worker Rights
Consortium (WRC). The bookstore works
with the FLA and WRC on disclosure of manufacturers’ locations and owners,
internal monitoring of safety at facilities, and other labor issues for
bookstore vendors.
The FLA creates lasting solutions to abusive labor practices
by offering tools and resources to companies, delivering training to factory
workers and management, conducting due diligence through independent
assessments, and advocating for greater accountability and transparency from
companies, manufacturers, factories and others involved in global supply

The WRC is an independent labor rights monitoring
organization, conducting investigations of working conditions in factories
